Everything You Need to Know

What's New in Armoury Crate SE 2.1.15.0

The star of this update is the new version of Armoury Crate SE, which brings a host of welcome features and improvements to all ROG Ally devices.

Highlights of the New Features

Enhanced CPU Control - ROG Xbox Ally X owners now have granular control over their device's performance cores. The new P-core and E-core configuration options (found under Performance → More Settings) let you fine-tune your CPU behavior for better performance or battery life, depending on your needs.

Smarter FPS Limiting - ASUS has integrated AMD Radeon Chill behavior directly into the FPS Limiter function, making frame rate management more intelligent. They've also adjusted the lower limit from 45 FPS down to 40 FPS, which better syncs with the device's 120Hz display refresh rate for smoother gameplay.

Full Screen Toggle - You can now map key bindings to enter or exit the full screen experience, giving you more control over your gaming interface without interrupting your session.

Update Notifications - The Command Center now includes update notifications, so you'll never miss important firmware or software updates again.

Better Gyro Aiming - The gyro aiming algorithm has been improved for enhanced precision, which is great news for shooter fans who rely on motion controls.

Windows Power Mode Integration - Manual Operating Mode now includes Windows Power Mode options, giving you more ways to balance performance and battery life.

Visual and Interface Updates

ASUS has refreshed the interface with a new gray color design for the bottom bar buttons, giving Armoury Crate SE a sleeker, more modern look.
